Samurai! Hai!

I was informed that Samurai is the best sushi place in Zurich. I just had to try it. I never would have noticed this place if not for the recommendation of a Japanese colleague. I really liked this restaurant. I found the Japanese old man serving quite cute. It really lends credibility to the place. The sushi was good as well.

For starters I took the tokoyaki balls because I was craving for it. It is not exactly how I remembered it but it was good anyway. For sushi, I had the MORIAWASE spezial for 38 chf because I wanted a bit of everything. It was more than enough for me. There are 17 pieces of different kinds of sushi. It is good for people like me who wants to taste everything. For dessert, I had Ogura Matcha ice. I love Matcha ice. I love the subtle flavor of green tea.

The restaurant is small so reservations is a must. The food is good and the place is clean. Service is a bit slow but the I would definitely go back.

Food: very good
Price: moderate (Zürich standards)
Ambiance: okay
Service: on the slow side
Cleanliness: good
Parking: no (blue and white zones only)
