Great Vietnamese Food

What is better than a good bowl of Pho Bac and wonderful fresh spring rolls? It took a few years but I finally found a place that can fix my Vietnamese food cravings! Restaurant Vietnam Uetlibergstrasse 77, 8045 Zürich (Tel: +41(43) 333 19 39) serves really excellent soups and a wide selection of spring rolls.
We were there last January during the Chinese New Year. They had an ambitious 5 course menu that evening which I thought they were not ready for because normally they are a fast food/take away place. Even if we were a bit annoyed by the bad service, we were nevertheless delighted by the food.
It is really difficult to surprise me with new a flavor combination. Unfortunately, I feel that I have tasted all the possible flavors possible. I was really delighted to try Restaurant Vietnam's fresh spring rolls with Chinese sausage, dried shrimp and cassava served with hoisin sauce. At first it was a bit shocking, but after a few bites, I learned to savor the combination of the sweetness of Chinese sausage and saltiness of the dried shrimp.

Summary:

Food: very good
Price: very good, cheap
Ambiance: very good
Service: we were there not on a normal day, I will give it another chance
Cleanliness: very good
Parking: yes
